Anyway, this game is intriguing me as more info comes out.

The name is The Secret World and they have a personality quiz to determine what faction for which you would be best suited. Just go to the website and click 'Initiation Test' at the top of the page. The three factions are the Illuminati, the Templars, and Dragon. I ended up with Dragon.

Also, they have a beta sign up of sorts after the test.

Here's an interview and preview roundup for the game. The guy heading the project is not the AoC guy, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. This game looks like it could be pretty cool.

I swear I already responded here but my post is missing....

Let me try again. I wouldn't think that Kinien or Cali for that matter would be Dragon, since both seem to appreciate direct action over sneaking around in the shadows and manipulating events. But the test doesn't lie, so we have to take that for what it's worth.

Here are some updated first impressions of the game. It covers topics such as guilds (they are called cabals), pvp, achievements and scoring for the game. Still not impressed with the current thought process on pvp in mmo's, but the rest sounds like it might be cool.

Anyone have any new information on this? I've been looking around and there is not a lot of information that I can find anywhere.

I took the test again. I'm still Illuminati and I even answered the questions differently... weird. It's OK though after reading the faction descriptions again I think the Illuminati will be the most fun anyway.

I follow them on Facebook and I see some random interviews here and there.

They are really building up the mystery. Not much information can be found at all.

I am still banking on this being my next MMO.
Still planning on skipping Star Wars.

I will check the forums again soon to see if anyone has anything "real" or "new" on the game.

Yeah unless TOR really dazzles (I'm not expecting it to) then this will most likely be my next MMO. Let's hope funcom learned something from AoC, although from what I've been reading in the forums they still haven't fixed that game so I'm not holding my breath.

I downloaded AOC again already.
If you sign up again they give you a free beta to Secret World.

I am waiting to find out more details on that offer before I play AOC again though haha.
